In many African countries, there is a desperate need for clean, safe water. Hearts and Hands for Humanity is focused on providing clean, life-saving water to rural villages. We are currently working in Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, and Malawi.

Young girls are tasked with collecting the water for the family. This is typically done during school hours, preventing the girls from attending school. This is a major problem for these young girls. Education is the only path out of the poverty they live in. This is one of the main reasons we drill and provide clean water to the schools. This brings the young girls to school for education and then takes the water home with them.

Every donor to this year’s women's well will receive pictures and videos of the school and the completed well. They will also, if desired, have their name placed on a plaque to be mounted at the well identifying them as one who helped provide for the clean water well.
